A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. They ensure excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness, and manage bar inventory efficiently.
Drink Preparation – Mix and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to recipes.
Customer Service – Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences.
Cash Handling – Process payments, issue receipts, and manage tabs.
Inventory Management – Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and reduce waste.
Bar Maintenance – Keep the bar clean, sanitized, and well-organized.
Responsible Alcohol Service – Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated guests.
Upselling & Promotions – Suggest premium drinks and inform customers about special promotions.
Glassware & Equipment Handling – Properly clean and maintain bar tools, glasses, and cocktail shakers.
Conflict Resolution – Handle customer complaints and maintain a friendly atmosphere.
Collaboration – Work with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Education – High school diploma or equivalent; bartending certification is a plus.
Experience – Prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
Mixology Skills – Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, wine, and beer.
Customer Service Skills – Friendly, approachable, and able to handle diverse customer needs.
Cash Handling – Ability to operate POS systems and manage transactions accurately.
Attention to Detail – Ensuring correct measurements and garnishes for drinks.
Physical Stamina – Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy cases of bottles.
Communication Skills – Strong verbal skills for engaging with customers.
Flexibility – Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of Laws & Safety – Understanding of alcohol regulations and responsible serving practices.
Terms & Conditions: –
Food → Free meals will be provided by the Employer as contractually agreed
Accommodation → Provided from Company as contractually agreed
Medical → Provided according to Romanian legislation
Contract period → Two (02) years for all above categories
Probation period → 03 months
Working hours → 08 hours a day, 48 hours per week, 6 days
Vacation → 21 days per year
Air Ticket → Return air ticket to the home country after 2 years continuously contract period
