Responsibilities of Bike Riders

A bike rider’s job typically focuses on delivering goods, transporting items, or offering services efficiently and environmentally. Bike riders often work in logistics, delivery, courier services, or tourism.

Job Qualifications:

No formal education is usually required, but basic literacy and numeracy skills are necessary for reading instructions, maps, and handling payments.

Strong cycling skills and knowledge of traffic rules.

1. Delivery and Transportation

• Safely transport goods, documents, or packages to designated locations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Handle products with care to ensure they remain undamaged during transit.

2. Customer Interaction

• Communicate politely and professionally with customers to confirm deliveries.
• Obtain necessary signatures or documentation for proof of delivery.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns regarding deliveries.

3. Vehicle Maintenance

• Regularly inspect the bike to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks like checking tire pressure, brakes, and lights.
• Report any bike issues or repairs needed to the employer.

4. Compliance with Safety and Traffic Rules

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while riding.
• Wear appropriate safety gear, including helmets and reflective clothing.
• Ensure the secure placement of goods to prevent accidents or spillage.

5. Record Keeping

• Maintain logs of deliveries, including pickup and drop-off times.
• Manage receipts or invoices and submit them to the employer.
• Track mileage and fuel expenses if applicable.

5. Contract Period       >     Two (02) years
6. Probation Period    >     06 months
7. Working Hours       >     08 Hours a day, 48 hours per week
8. Vacation                   >     21 days per year
9. Air ticket                  >     One way free after the completing contract
