Boiler & LPC (Low-Pressure Compressor) Technician Full Time

Job Role:

The Boiler & LPC Technician ensures the reliable operation of boilers and low-pressure compressors essential to industrial processes. This position involves maintaining equipment integrity, preventing failures, and adhering strictly to safety protocols to protect personnel and assets.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial boilers and low-pressure compressors.

• Monitor boiler and compressor performance, including pressure, temperature, and fluid levels.

• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to boilers and LPC systems.

• Perform cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of boiler components and compressor parts.

• Respond to alarms, emergency shutdowns, and breakdowns swiftly to minimize downtime.

• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, repairs, and operational parameters.

• Follow safety protocols and regulatory compliance guidelines (e.g., OSHA, EPA).

• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians for system optimization.

• Ensure all boiler and compressor equipment complies with company and legal safety standards.

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Boiler Operation, or related field.

• Proven experience (3+ years) working with industrial boilers and low-pressure compressors.

• Strong knowledge of boiler operation, safety valves, pressure control, and steam generation systems.

• Familiarity with compressors, including mechanical seals, lubrication systems, and pressure regulation.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&ID diagrams, and manuals.

• Skilled in routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs.

• Awareness of safety regulations and environmental standards.

• Good physical fitness and ability to work in industrial environments.

• Strong communication skills and team collaboration ability.
