Job Role:
A Carpenter is a skilled tradesperson responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures. This includes tasks like building frameworks, installing doors and windows, and constructing furniture and cabinetry. Carpenters work on a variety of projects in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, ensuring that all wood-based work meets required standards of quality, safety, and functionality.
Job Responsibilities:

Woodworking – Cut, shape, and assemble wood for building structures, frameworks, and other wood-related projects.

Blueprint Interpretation – Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to understand project requirements.

Construction of Fixtures – Install and repair fixtures like windows, doors, cabinets, floors, and wooden trim.

Measurement & Cutting – Measure materials and cut wood to precise measurements using hand tools, power tools, or machinery.

Furniture Construction – Build and assemble custom furniture such as tables, chairs, shelves, and cabinets.

Repairs & Renovations – Perform repairs or renovations of existing wooden structures and fixtures as required.

Finishing – Apply finishes, such as stains, paints, and varnishes, to wooden surfaces.

Site Preparation – Prepare job sites by ensuring they are clean, organized, and safe for work.

Safety & Compliance – Follow safety protocols when handling tools and equipment, ensuring all work complies with safety and building regulations.

Collaboration – Work closely with other tradespeople, such as electricians, plumbers, and masons, to complete construction or renovation projects.
Job Requirements:

Education – High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or related fields is preferred.

Experience – Previous carpentry experience (2-5 years) in residential or commercial construction, renovation, or woodworking projects.

Technical Skills – Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, sanders, saws), as well as woodworking machinery.

Blueprint Reading – Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.

Mathematical Skills – Strong understanding of measurements, angles, and proportions to ensure accuracy in cutting and assembling.

Physical Stamina – Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and stand for long periods.

Attention to Detail – Precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to ensure high-quality finishes and safe structures.

Problem-Solving – Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues that may arise during construction or installation processes.

Time Management – Efficiently manage time to meet deadlines and complete projects within the allocated timeframe.

Safety Awareness – Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations, with an emphasis on using tools and materials safely to avoid accidents.

Contract period – Two (02) Years
Food – Allowance 20 KD

Working Hours – 08 Hours per day, 06 hours per week
Over time – As per UAE Government Law
Vacation – 21 days per yea, As per UAE law
