Job Role:
A CHC (Chiller/Chilled Water) Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of chiller systems and chilled water plants. They ensure the efficient functioning of the cooling equipment and systems that regulate temperature in large buildings, facilities, or industrial plants. The CHC Operator must ensure that these systems operate smoothly, efficiently, and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
Job Responsibilities:

System Operation – Operate and monitor chiller and chilled water systems to ensure they function efficiently and within optimal parameters.

Monitoring & Maintenance – Regularly check equipment performance, including pumps, compressors, cooling towers, and HVAC systems, and perform routine maintenance.

Troubleshooting – Identify faults and problems with cooling systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs or call for technical support when necessary.

Temperature Control – Adjust settings and parameters to maintain desired temperatures and ensure proper climate control within the facility.

Safety Compliance – Ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations, including proper handling of refrigerants, pressure systems, and electrical equipment.

System Testing – Perform system tests to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and conduct preventative maintenance schedules.

Documentation & Reporting – Keep accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, repairs, and any issues encountered. Report to management as required.

Energy Efficiency – Monitor and optimize energy usage by adjusting cooling systems to reduce energy consumption while maintaining desired operational standards.

Emergency Response – Be prepared to act swiftly and efficiently in the event of equipment failure or system breakdown, ensuring minimum disruption to operations.

Collaboration – Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other staff to ensure proper system operation and maintenance.
Job Requirements:

Education – High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical systems are preferred.

Experience – Prior experience in operating chiller systems, HVAC, or other cooling systems is typically required (2-3 years or more).

Technical Skills – Knowledge of chilled water systems, refrigeration equipment, HVAC systems, and energy-saving technologies.

Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to diagnose and solve issues related to system malfunctions, temperature fluctuations, or equipment failure.

Attention to Detail – Ability to monitor systems closely, detect issues early, and make adjustments as necessary.

Physical Stamina – Ability to work in demanding physical conditions and manage large equipment.

Safety Awareness – Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.

Communication Skills – Good communication skills to report issues, work in a team, and follow instructions from supervisors or engineers.

Technical Certifications (Preferred) – Certifications in HVAC, chiller operation, or refrigeration maintenance (e.g., EPA certification for refrigerants).

Time Management – Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining system efficiency and safety standards.
Conditions:
Contract period – Two (02) Years
Food – Allowance 20 KD
Transportation – Provided From Company
Accommodation – Provided From Company
Working Hours – 08 Hours per day, 06 hours per week
Over time – As per UAE Government Law
Vacation – 21 days per yea, As per UAE law
Medical Facilities – Provided as Company Policy
Air Passage – One way free after the completing contract
Probation Period – 06 months,
Other Conditions – All other terms & conditions as per Kuwait Labour Law
