Electrician Assistant Full Time

Job Role:

The Electrician Assistant supports licensed electricians in their day-to-day tasks, helping with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems. The role is suitable for individuals looking to build a career in the electrical field, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the electrician in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

• Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.

• Prepare and clean work areas before and after installations.

• Pull wires through conduits and walls under the supervision of the electrician.

• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components as instructed.

• Perform basic tasks such as drilling holes, cutting pipes, or mounting electrical boxes.

• Help in testing electrical systems and diagnosing faults.

• Follow all safety protocols and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.

• Keep tools and materials organized and in good condition.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools.

• Previous experience as an electrician helper or in a construction/labor environment is preferred.

• Ability to follow instructions and learn on the job.

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment or materials.

• Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in tight spaces.

• Basic knowledge of safety procedures in electrical work.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Ability to work well as part of a team.
