🧾 Job Overview

We are seeking hardworking and skilled Gardeners to join reputed hotels and resorts across Greece. The selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, and health of the hotel’s outdoor areas, gardens, and landscapes. This is an excellent opportunity for Sri Lankan candidates passionate about outdoor work to gain hands-on experience in European landscaping and resort maintenance.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for gardens, lawns, trees, and ornamental plants within hotel premises.

• Mow lawns, trim hedges, prune trees, and remove weeds to keep the area neat and attractive.

• Water plants, apply fertilizers, and manage pest control under supervision.

• Assist in planting new flowers, shrubs, and trees according to landscape design plans.

• Maintain pathways, fountains, and outdoor decorative areas to ensure a clean appearance.

• Operate gardening tools and machinery such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely.

• Dispose of garden waste responsibly and maintain cleanliness in all outdoor zones.

• Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams for special events or seasonal setups.

• Inspect and report any issues with irrigation systems or damaged plants to supervisors.

• Follow all environmental and safety regulations set by the hotel management.

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance (hotel/resort experience preferred).

• Basic knowledge of plants, soil care, and irrigation systems.

• Ability to operate basic gardening tools and maintain them in good condition.

• Physically fit, hardworking, and able to perform outdoor work in different weather conditions.

• Basic English communication skills; Greek language knowledge is an advantage.

• Attention to detail, patience, and dedication to maintaining high landscaping standards.

• Must be punctual, disciplined, and cooperative within a multicultural team.

🕒 Work Schedule

8 hours per day, 6 days per week (48 hours weekly).
Occasional weekend or early-morning shifts may apply depending on landscaping schedules.

Contract Period:                             Two (02) Years

Accommodation:                          Shared accommodation with basic facilities provided by employer

Working Hours:                             8 hours per day, 6 days per week (48 hours per week)

Overtime:                                       Paid according to Greek labour law

Air Passage:                                    Provided by employer (round-trip after contract period)

Probation Period:                           01 month
