Hardcover Box Binder Full Time

Job Role:

A Hardcover Box Binder is responsible for assembling and binding hardcover boxes, books, or packaging using specialized techniques. This role involves precision craftsmanship, working with materials like paperboard, cloth, adhesives, and printing elements to create high-quality bound products.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Binding & Assembly – Construct and bind hardcover boxes, books, or packaging materials.

2. Material Handling – Cut, fold, and assemble materials such as paperboard, fabric, or leather for covering.

3. Adhesive Application – Use glue, tapes, or stitching to secure covers and ensure durability.

4. Machine Operation – Operate and maintain binding equipment, pressing machines, and cutting tools.

5. Quality Control – Inspect finished products for defects and ensure high-quality standards.

6. Customization – Apply finishing touches such as embossing, foil stamping, or decorative elements.

7. Workplace Safety – Follow safety regulations while handling equipment, adhesives, and sharp tools.

8. Inventory Management – Monitor and manage raw materials like glue, paperboard, and cover fabrics.

9. Deadline Management – Work efficiently to meet production targets and client demands.

10. Collaboration – Work with designers, print specialists, and production teams to achieve the desired results.

Job Requirements:

1. Education – High school diploma or vocational training in bookbinding, printing, or manufacturing is preferred.

2. Experience – Prior experience in bookbinding, box making, or packaging is an advantage.

3. Technical Skills – Ability to operate binding machines and handcraft hardcover products.

4. Attention to Detail – Precision in cutting, folding, and aligning materials.

5. Physical Stamina – Capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, pressing, and assembling for extended periods.

6. Creativity & Aesthetics – Understanding of design principles for premium-quality products.

7. Safety Awareness – Knowledge of handling adhesives, sharp tools, and machinery safely.

8. Time Management – Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

9. Teamwork – Ability to collaborate with production and printing teams.

10. Basic Math Skills – Understanding of measurements and cutting dimensions for accurate production.

Conditions:

Contract period                – Two (02) Years

Food                                 – Allowance 20 KD

Transportation                – Provided From Company

Accommodation             – Provided From Company

Working Hours                 – 08 Hours per day, 06 hours per week

Over time                        – As per UAE Government Law

Vacation                           – 21 days per yea, As per UAE law

Medical Facilities            – Provided as Company Policy

Air Passage                     – One way free after the completing contract

Probation Period            – 06 months,

Other Conditions           – All other terms & conditions as per Kuwait Labour Law
