Head of Security Full Time

🧾 Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Head of Security to manage the safety and protection operations at high-end hotels and resorts across Greece. The successful candidate will oversee a team of security personnel, ensure compliance with international safety standards, and coordinate closely with management to safeguard guests, employees, and property. This is an excellent opportunity for Sri Lankan professionals with a background in hotel or corporate security to gain European-level experience and leadership exposure.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations, including guarding, monitoring, and patrolling all hotel areas.

• Lead, train, and schedule a team of security staff to ensure 24-hour safety coverage.

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for security and emergency response.

• Oversee surveillance systems (CCTV) and access control points to prevent unauthorized entry.

• Investigate incidents such as theft, accidents, or guest disputes, and submit detailed reports to management.

• Conduct regular safety inspections of hotel facilities and coordinate with engineering on hazard prevention.

• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.

• Manage lost-and-found procedures and ensure compliance with hospitality policies.

• Ensure fire safety equipment, alarms, and evacuation plans are functional and updated.

• Foster a culture of vigilance, professionalism, and customer-friendly security service.

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel, resort, or corporate security management.

• Proven leadership ability to manage and motivate a team of security staff.

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, CCTV systems, and emergency procedures.

• Certificate or diploma in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or related field preferred.

• Excellent English communication skills (Greek language is an advantage).

• Physically fit, disciplined, and able to handle high-pressure situations calmly.

• Basic computer literacy for reporting and shift documentation.

• Clean background record and professional demeanor.

🕒 Work Schedule

8 hours per day, 6 days per week (48 hours weekly).
Flexible or rotating shifts may apply to ensure 24-hour coverage.

Conditions:

Working Hours:                             8 hours per day, 6 days per week (48 hours per week)

Air Passage:                                    Provided by employer (round-trip after contract period)
