Job Role: IT Specialist – UI Engineer

UI Engineers specialize in building responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. They translate design concepts into functional, high-performance code and ensure a consistent, accessible, and engaging experience for users.

Key Responsibilities

For All Levels (Juniors → Seniors)

• Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern web technologies.

• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, pixel-perfect front-end code.

• Ensure consistency with design systems, branding guidelines, and accessibility standards.

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility.

• Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver complete solutions.

Additional Responsibilities by Level:

• Junior Level:

  • Assist in implementing UI features under supervision.

  • Fix minor UI bugs and perform interface testing.

  • Learn coding standards, version control, and accessibility guidelines.

• Mid-Level:

  • Lead development of UI features/modules for projects.

  • Integrate APIs and dynamic data into UI components.

  • Review UI code for quality and performance improvements.

• Senior Level:

  • Define and maintain the organization’s UI architecture and component libraries.

  • Set UI development standards and best practices.

  • Mentor junior UI engineers and oversee front-end project delivery.

  • Collaborate with product managers to align UI with business objectives.

Requirements

For All Levels (Core Skills):

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Design, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.

• Experience with modern frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue).

• Understanding of UI accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability principles.

• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.

Experience by Level:

• Junior Level: 0–2 years in UI/front-end development (internship experience acceptable).

• Mid-Level: 2–5 years of UI/front-end development experience.

• Senior Level: 5+ years in UI/front-end roles with leadership or architecture experience.

Preferred (Especially for Senior):

• Experience with front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite) and state management (Redux, Vuex).

• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

• Knowledge of performance optimization, security best practices, and cross-platform development.
