IT Specialists – Business Intelligence (Juniors – Seniors) Full Time

Job Role: Business Intelligence (BI) 

Business Intelligence Specialists are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that help organizations make data-driven decisions. They work with data sources, create dashboards, generate reports, and provide insights to improve business processes and performance.

Key Responsibilities

For All Levels (Juniors → Seniors)

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various internal and external sources.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into BI solutions.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets to support decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities by Level:

• Junior Level:

  • Assist in data extraction, cleaning, and preparation.

  • Support BI team with report generation and routine analytics.

  • Learn BI tools and reporting systems under supervision.

• Mid-Level:

  • Lead small BI projects from requirements gathering to delivery.

  • Optimize existing BI reports and automate data workflows.

  • Train business users on BI tools and best practices.

• Senior Level:

  • Architect BI solutions and oversee data warehouse design.

  • Lead BI strategy and roadmap for the organization.

  • Mentor junior staff and ensure best practices in data governance.

  • Integrate BI systems with advanced analytics and machine learning tools.

Requirements

For All Levels (Core Skills):

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.

• Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.).

• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

Experience by Level:

• Junior Level: 0–2 years of BI or data analysis experience (internships acceptable).

• Mid-Level: 2–5 years of BI development/analysis experience.

• Senior Level: 5+ years in BI, with experience leading projects and teams.

Preferred (especially for Senior):

• Experience with cloud BI solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing.

• Exposure to programming languages (Python, R, DAX, MDX).
