IT Specialists – Data Analytics Engineer (Juniors – Seniors) Full Time

Job Role: Data Analytics Engineer

Data Analytics Engineers design, build, and optimize data pipelines, analytics solutions, and reporting systems that transform raw data into actionable business insights. They bridge the gap between data engineering and data analysis, ensuring stakeholders have timely, accurate, and usable information for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

For All Levels (Juniors → Seniors)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Integrate data from multiple sources into analytics platforms or data warehouses.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all analytics solutions.

• Collaborate with analysts, BI developers, and business teams to define data needs.

• Optimize query performance and data processing efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities by Level:

• Junior Level:

  • Support senior engineers in building and testing data pipelines.

  • Perform basic data cleaning, validation, and transformation tasks.

  • Assist in documentation of processes and data flows.

• Mid-Level:

  • Lead the development of moderately complex analytics solutions.

  • Automate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting workflows.

  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and implement corrective measures.

• Senior Level:

  • Architect large-scale data solutions and analytics platforms.

  • Define data strategy, governance, and best practices for the organization.

  • Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional analytics projects.

  • Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning integration.

Requirements

For All Levels (Core Skills):

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.

• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, SSIS) and data integration methods.

• Familiarity with BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Experience by Level:

• Junior Level: 0–2 years of data analytics or engineering experience (internship experience acceptable).

• Mid-Level: 2–5 years of experience building data pipelines and analytics solutions.

• Senior Level: 5+ years in data engineering/analytics roles with proven leadership and architecture skills.

Preferred (Especially for Senior):

• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

• Programming skills in Python, R, or Scala.

• Understanding of machine learning workflows and advanced analytics techniques.
