🧾 Job Overview

We are looking for attentive and physically fit Lifeguards to join luxury hotels and seaside resorts across Greece. The selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests using swimming pools, beaches, and water facilities. This position offers Sri Lankan lifeguards the opportunity to work in a safe, well-managed European hospitality environment while gaining valuable international experience.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all swimming pool and beach areas to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.

• Monitor guests closely and respond immediately to emergencies or distress situations.

• Perform water rescues, administer first aid, and provide CPR when necessary.

• Maintain safety equipment such as rescue tubes, lifebuoys, and first-aid kits.

• Enforce pool and beach safety regulations, ensuring guests follow proper rules.

• Conduct regular water quality checks and report any hazards or issues to management.

• Keep pool areas clean, organized, and free from obstacles.

• Assist in maintaining order during crowded periods and provide professional guidance to guests.

• Attend regular safety drills and refresher training sessions as required by the employer.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Lifeguard in hotels, resorts, or recreation centers.

• Valid Lifeguard Training Certificate and First Aid / CPR certification (mandatory).

• Ability to swim proficiently and perform water rescues.

• Strong awareness of safety and emergency response procedures.

• Physically fit, alert, and capable of standing or patrolling for long hours.

• Basic English communication skills; Greek language knowledge is an advantage.

• Friendly, professional, and calm under pressure.

• Must meet Greek health and safety requirements for lifeguard positions.

🕒 Work Schedule

8 hours per day, 6 days per week (48 hours weekly).
Extra shifts may apply during high guest seasons.
