Line Mechanic (KRONES) Full Time

Job Role:

The Line Mechanic (KRONES) plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth, uninterrupted operation of KRONES packaging lines by performing technical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. The role demands a strong understanding of KRONES machinery and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot KRONES packaging and bottling production lines.

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on KRONES machines, including fillers, cappers, conveyors, labelers, and palletizers.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults quickly and efficiently.

• Replace worn or damaged parts to minimize downtime.

• Assist in installation, setup, and commissioning of new KRONES machinery.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance and line efficiency.

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.

• Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are strictly followed during machine operation and maintenance.

• Train operators and junior technicians on proper machine handling and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (2+ years) working with KRONES or similar bottling and packaging machinery.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC systems used in KRONES equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.

• Familiarity with industrial maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to production issues.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Vocational training or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
