Network Architect Full Time

Job Role: Network Architect

A Network Architect designs, plans, and oversees the implementation of computer networks that support voice, data, video, and wireless services across an organization. They ensure the network infrastructure is secure, scalable, and meets the organization’s performance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop network architectures for LANs, WANs, intranets, extranets, and cloud networks.

• Assess current network infrastructure and recommend upgrades or improvements.

• Develop network diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications.

• Select appropriate hardware, software, and protocols.

• Ensure the network is optimized for performance, security, and scalability.

• Work closely with security teams to implement firewalls, encryption, and access control.

• Supervise network installation and configuration processes.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in networking.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT and network teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Professional certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA Network+, Juniper, AWS Certified Advanced Networking).

• Proven experience in network design, implementation, and management.

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).

• Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).

• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and project management abilities.

Conditions:
