🧾 Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair cooling and refrigeration systems in hotels, resorts, and commercial facilities across Greece. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient operation of cold rooms, chillers, air-conditioning units, and kitchen cooling systems. This position provides Sri Lankan technicians an opportunity to gain hands-on experience under European maintenance standards in a professional hospitality environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance on cold storage units, chillers, and HVAC systems.

• Check refrigerant levels, pressure, and system temperatures to ensure proper performance.

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in compressors, motors, and control systems.

• Replace faulty parts and calibrate thermostats, sensors, and control panels.

• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs for all equipment.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from kitchen, bar, or storage departments.

• Ensure energy efficiency and compliance with environmental and safety standards.

• Work closely with engineering and technical teams for equipment upgrades or replacements.

• Follow Greek safety codes and international refrigeration maintenance best practices.

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or HVAC Technician.

• Technical or vocational certification in Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning, or Mechanical Maintenance.

• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, cooling gases, and control systems.

• Familiarity with both commercial and hospitality refrigeration systems.

• Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals.

• Basic English communication skills (Greek language is an advantage).

• Safety-conscious, disciplined, and capable of independent problem-solving.

• Physically fit and able to handle field maintenance tasks.

🕒 Work Schedule

8 hours per day, 6 days per week (48 hours weekly).
Emergency calls or maintenance shifts may apply during peak operational periods.
