Senior Accountant Full Time

Job Role:

A Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial operations within an organization, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, managing accounts, and preparing financial reports. They play a key role in budgeting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulations while also mentoring junior accounting staff.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting – Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports) in accordance with accounting standards.

2. General Ledger Management – Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant with regulations.

3. Reconciliation – Perform account reconciliations, ensuring that all discrepancies are identified and resolved.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist in the preparation and monitoring of company budgets and financial forecasts.

5. Accounts Payable/Receivable – Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.

6. Tax Compliance – Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.

7. Financial Analysis – Analyze financial data to identify trends, costs, and opportunities for improvement in financial performance.

8. Audit Preparation – Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure that all audit requirements are met.

9. Internal Controls – Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

10. Supervision & Mentorship – Supervise junior accountants, providing guidance and training to ensure effective accounting practices and professional development.

Job Requirements:

1. Education – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Experience – Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

3. Certifications – CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred.

4. Technical Skills – Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.

5. Knowledge of Accounting Principles – Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.

6. Attention to Detail – High degree of accuracy in financial reporting, data entry, and reconciliations.

7. Analytical Skills – Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights for decision-making.

8. Time Management – Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage workload effectively.

9. Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to management and coordinating with other departments.

10. Leadership Skills – Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff, offering guidance and support as needed.

Conditions:

Contract period                         – Two (02) Years

Working Hours                          – 08 Hours per day, 06 hours per week

Probation Period                     – 06 months,
