Senior Interior Designer (with BIM Expertise) Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

🎨 Design Leadership

• Develop and lead interior design concepts from initial ideas to detailed documentation.

• Space planning, furniture layouts, finishes, and material selections in line with client needs and project goals.

• Maintain design consistency and excellence throughout all phases.

🧩 BIM Integration

• Utilize Revit and other BIM tools to produce detailed models, plans, elevations, and schedules.

• Coordinate BIM models with architecture, MEP, and structure disciplines.

• Help set BIM standards and best practices for interior design workflows.

📐 Project Delivery

• Oversee interior design packages and ensure alignment with timelines and budgets.

• Ensure documentation is code-compliant and meets project specifications.

• Collaborate with consultants, vendors, and contractors throughout design and construction phases.

👥 Team Collaboration & Mentorship

• Guide and mentor junior designers and BIM drafters.

• Promote a collaborative environment within the design team.

🤝 Client Interaction

• Meet with clients to understand vision and functional needs.

• Present mood boards, 3D visualizations, and material samples.

• Integrate feedback throughout design iterations.

💰 Salary:

Job Requirements:

🎓 Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

• BIM certification (Autodesk Revit) is a plus.

• Membership in a design body (e.g., CID, ASID) preferred.

📚 Experience

• 7–10+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.

• Strong portfolio showcasing commercial, hospitality, or luxury residential projects with BIM implementation.

💻 Technical Skills

• Proficient in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and 3D rendering tools (SketchUp, Enscape, Twinmotion).

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.

• Knowledge of interior codes, materials, finishes, and construction detailing.

💡 Soft Skills

• Strong creativity with problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.

• High level of organization, leadership, and client management.

⭐ Preferred Project Types:

• Luxury interiors, hospitality, corporate, or healthcare spaces.

• Experience in fast-track or design-build project environments.

• Sustainability-focused design or WELL-certified interiors is a plus.
