A Signage Fabricator is responsible for designing, constructing, and installing signs for commercial, industrial, and retail applications. They work with materials like metal, acrylic, wood, and vinyl, using various fabrication techniques such as welding, engraving, printing, and electrical wiring for illuminated signs.
Sign Fabrication – Manufacture signs using materials like aluminum, acrylic, vinyl, and LED components.
Blueprint Reading – Interpret design plans, blueprints, and customer specifications.
Cutting & Shaping – Use tools like CNC routers, saws, and laser cutters to shape sign materials.
Assembly & Welding – Join materials using welding, adhesives, and fasteners.
Graphic Application – Print, cut, and apply vinyl graphics or digital prints onto signage surfaces.
Painting & Finishing – Apply paint, powder coating, or protective finishes for durability and aesthetics.
Electrical Work – Install LED lighting and electrical components for illuminated signs.
Installation & Mounting – Install signs at locations using appropriate hardware and support structures.
Quality Control – Ensure signs meet customer requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Equipment Maintenance – Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication machinery and tools.
Education – High school diploma or technical/vocational training in sign fabrication, metalwork, or graphic design.
Experience – Prior experience in signage manufacturing or a related field.
Technical Skills – Knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding, CNC cutting, and electrical wiring.
Hand & Power Tools – Proficiency in using drills, saws, welding machines, and printing equipment.
Physical Strength – Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
Attention to Detail – Ensure accuracy in cutting, assembling, and finishing sign components.
Graphic Design Knowledge (Preferred) – Familiarity with design software like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or AutoCAD.
Safety Awareness – Understanding of workplace safety procedures and PPE usage.
Time Management – Ability to complete projects on time and meet tight deadlines.
Teamwork & Communication – Work effectively with designers, installers, and clients to achieve project goals.

Working Hours – 08 Hours per day, 06 hours per week
