Storekeeper Full Time

Job Role:

A Storekeeper is responsible for overseeing the inventory and stock of a store, warehouse, or facility. They ensure that products and materials are stored properly, tracked accurately, and distributed efficiently. Storekeepers play a key role in managing stock levels, organizing shipments, and maintaining an organized and safe storage environment.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management – Maintain accurate records of stock levels, track items received and issued, and ensure that stock is replenished in a timely manner.

2. Stock Receiving & Inspection – Receive incoming goods, inspect them for damage or discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation for deliveries.

3. Stock Organization – Ensure that all products and materials are stored correctly, following best practices for stock organization and safety regulations.

4. Order Fulfillment – Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment or distribution according to orders or production schedules.

5. Inventory Audits – Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies between actual stock and inventory records.

6. Maintain Storage Area – Keep the store or warehouse neat, clean, and organized, following health and safety protocols.

7. Safety Compliance – Ensure the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.

8. Record Keeping – Maintain detailed records of goods issued, received, and returned, as well as the inventory levels for all stock items.

9. Supply Chain Coordination – Coordinate with procurement, production, and other departments to ensure stock levels meet the needs of the business.

10. Report Generation – Prepare reports on stock levels, inventory usage, and any discrepancies for management review.

Job Requirements:

1. Education – High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or training in supply chain management, warehouse operations, or inventory management is a plus.

2. Experience – Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations (1-3 years) is preferred.

3. Attention to Detail – Strong attention to detail to accurately track stock and avoid errors in order fulfillment.

4. Organizational Skills – Ability to organize and manage large quantities of stock efficiently and safely.

5. Physical Stamina – Ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.

6. Inventory Software Knowledge – Familiarity with inventory management software or systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

7. Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies or operational issues effectively.

8. Communication Skills – Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, other departments, and external partners.

9. Time Management – Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure smooth store operations.

10. Safety Awareness – Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for handling and storing goods, ensuring a safe working environment.

Conditions:

Contract period                         – Two (02) Years

Accommodation                       – Provided From Company

Working Hours                          – 08 Hours per day, 06 hours per week

Over time                                 – As per UAE Government Law

Vacation                                    – 21 days per yea, As per UAE law

Medical Facilities                     – Provided as Company Policy

Air Passage                               – One way free after the completing contract

Probation Period                     – 06 months,
