The Waiter is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving guests efficiently, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment while upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar staff.
Serve food and drinks in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner.
Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and well-presented before and after service.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism, escalating issues when required.
Process payments (cash, credit card, or room charge) and provide accurate change/receipts.
Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and service standards as per company policy.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
Support team members and assist in other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality-related qualification is an advantage).
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable personality.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good memory and attention to detail for taking and delivering orders accurately.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Professional appearance and grooming standards.
Food – Free duty food provided by the company.
Transportation – Free transportation.
Accommodation – Free sharing accommodation for non-executive staff, and single accommodation for executive staff as per company policy.
Medical – As per company policy.
Contract Period – Two (02) years, renewable for an extended period.
Probation Period – 100 days.
Working Hours – 08 hours per day with one day off per week.
Vacation – 30 days per year.
Visa – Article No. 18 Job Visa.
Air Ticket – One-way free air ticket after completing the contract.
