We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Waiters to join leading hotels and restaurants across Greece. The selected candidates will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for Sri Lankan hospitality professionals to gain European exposure and advance their international careers.
Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and courtesy.
Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and deliver them promptly.
Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper etiquette.
Set up tables, arrange dining areas, and ensure the environment is clean and presentable.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Handle billing and payment processes as instructed by supervisors.
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests or complaints professionally.
Refill water, clear tables, and reset them for new guests.
Adhere to restaurant service standards and safety regulations.
Participate in briefings and training sessions to maintain high-quality service.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a waiter or food server in hotels, resorts, or restaurants.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure during busy service hours.
Good command of English (Greek language skills are an advantage).
Well-groomed appearance and pleasant personality.
Knowledge of menu items, beverages, and basic food service procedures.
Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
Must be punctual, disciplined, and guest-focused at all times.
Free meals and shared accommodation provided by employer.
Transportation to and from workplace included.
Overtime pay as per Greek labour law.
Return air ticket after completion of contract period.
Medical care and work insurance provided according to Greek labour regulations.
Exposure to European hospitality standards and multicultural working environments.
8 hours per day, 6 days per week (48 hours weekly).
Overtime or split shifts may apply depending on hotel operations.
