The Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving guests efficiently, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
Present menus and answer questions about items, portions, ingredients, and possible food allergies.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen/bar staff.
Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met.
Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, glasses, and maintaining cleanliness.
Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, or requests with patience and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
Process billing and payments (cash, credit card, or room charge) accurately.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and company service policies at all times.
Stay updated with daily specials, promotions, and menu changes.
Collaborate with team members to provide smooth and efficient service.
High school diploma or equivalent (a hospitality-related qualification is an advantage).
Prior experience as a waitress/waiter in a hotel, restaurant, or café preferred.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong customer service focus with a friendly personality.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in busy service hours.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order-taking and service.
Cooperative team player with a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Professional grooming and presentation.
Food – Free duty food provided by the company.
Transportation – Free transportation.
Accommodation – Free sharing accommodation for non-executive staff, and single accommodation for executive staff as per company policy.
Medical – As per company policy.
Contract Period – Two (02) years, renewable for an extended period.
Probation Period – 100 days.
Working Hours – 08 hours per day with one day off per week.
Vacation – 30 days per year.
Visa – Article No. 18 Job Visa.
Air Ticket – One-way free air ticket after completing the contract.
