Housekeeper Full Time

A Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment in residential homes, hotels, or commercial establishments. Their role ensures comfort and hygiene for residents, guests, or employees.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.

• Dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture and fixtures.

• Restock cleaning supplies and report low inventory.

• Handle laundry – washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes or linens.

• Dispose of trash properly and sanitize waste bins.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

• Follow health and safety regulations, especially in handling chemicals.

• Respect privacy and maintain confidentiality of clients or guests.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning (preferred).

• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.

• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to bend, lift, and stand for long periods.

• Good time management and attention to detail.

• Reliability and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent (often optional for basic roles).

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
