Senior Design/Technical Architect (with BIM Expertise) Full Time

Job Role:

The Senior Design/Technical Architect with BIM Expertise leads the architectural design process while integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) into all stages of planning, design, and construction. The role ensures technical excellence, team collaboration, and delivery of innovative, sustainable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

🏗️ Design & Technical Leadership

• Develop and oversee architectural design from concept to construction documents.
• Ensure high design standards and technical accuracy across all phases.
• Approve materials, construction methods, and design resolutions.

🧠 BIM Coordination & Management

• Lead BIM integration and workflow strategies across projects.
• Manage architecture BIM models and coordinate with MEP, Structural, etc.
• Set BIM execution standards, protocols, and offer internal training.

📐 Project Delivery

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Review documents for quality, code compliance, and constructability.
• Participate in construction support including RFIs, submittals, and site visits.

👥 Team Collaboration & Mentorship

• Guide junior architects and BIM technicians.
• Offer leadership on technical challenges and design processes.

🤝 Client Communication

• Interpret client requirements and incorporate feedback into design proposals.
• Present design concepts to align with goals and expectations.

Requirements:

🎓 Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect (preferred or in progress).
• BIM certification is a plus (e.g., Autodesk Certified).

📚 Experience

• 8–12+ years in architectural design and project leadership.
• Strong BIM-integrated project portfolio.

💻 Technical Proficiency

• Expert in Autodesk Revit.
• Familiar with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, or Twinmotion.
• Knowledge of international/local codes and sustainable practices.

💡 Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and communication.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management.
